Stepping out of my usual comfort zone of shooting hard rock and tribute bands, I decided to venture out and capture a different kind of musical experience. Attending a show that not only impressed me but also turned me into a new fan, I was thrilled with this exciting new discovery.
It all started when I met a friendly couple at a Zoso concert in Charlotte's Neighborhood Theater. David, Michelle, and I bonded over our shared love for music, and it turns out they are members of the Charlotte Blues Society. This connection led me to photograph the 31st Anniversary Celebration for the CBS. What a wonderful event it turned out to be! As someone who greatly appreciates blues music, which is the foundation of my favorite genre, rock 'n roll, I couldn't have been happier to be part of this beautiful celebration.

I was captivated from the moment Ally stepped onto the stage. Her hypnotic blues-inspired voice and powerful guitar skills were a feast for my ears. Her music resonated with me and instantly reminded me of the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan. Ally's sultry style and her ability to deliver a full-on, intense performance left me in awe. It was as if her music was a gift from above, enchanting everyone in the audience. Her talent and passion shone through every note she played, creating an unforgettable experience. ~ Terie
